8.50 a.m. departure by plane from Tires. 10 a.m. Arrival in the town of Covilhã. Trip in 4x4 vehicle, where participants will have the chance to enjoy the remote mountain landscapes included in the protected area of the natural park of Serra da Estrela; then, we will cross the impressive glacial valley of the Zêzere river and the village of Covões, also a part of the protected area. 12 p.m. Lunch in a traditional restaurant. After lunch, we will continue our tour. 4.30 p.m.: Departure by plane from Covilhã to Cascais Airport. Jeep tours: All vehicles are driven by experienced guides who know the region; all vehicles are equipped with first aid kits, fire extinguishers and radio with dedicated frequency given by Portuguese authority Anacom; We suggest that participants wear comfortable clothes and shoes and bring a jacket.
