8.50 a.m. departure by plane from Tires. 10 a.m. Arrival in Covilhã. Transfer for Belmonte in 4x4 vehicle. Tour to the Jewish Museum in the village of Belmonte, the only museum entirely devoted to the culture and history of the Jewish people, strongly linked to the Beiras region for centuries. 12h00 Lunch at Pousada dos Cabrais. Tour to the wine cellar "Adega Cooperativa da Covilhã * including tasting of “Kosher” wine – a unique wine that is specially produced and drunk by the Jewish people. 4.30 p.m.: Departure by plane from Covilhã to Cascais Airport. * From the middle of September on, participants may have the chance to watch grape picking and the hectic activity of the wine cellar. Jeep tours: All vehicles are driven by experienced guides who know the region; all vehicles are equipped with first aid kit, fire extinguisher and radios with dedicated frequency given by Portuguese authority Anacom We suggest that participants wear comfortable clothes and shoes and bring a jacket.
